The Lake County Democratic Party is looking for a great representation in the Sat., Jan. 13, 2018 MLK, Jr. Parade/March in Downtown Leesburg that will kick off at 11 a.m.

We will have a float that you can ride if you are not able to walk along side.  Signs will be available or you can make your own!  The Theme is “MLK 50:  Forward Together We Win With Love For Humanity.”

You can volunteer by helping to make parade posters on Wed., Jan. 10, 2018 at 3 p.m. at DEC HQ at 4400 N. Hwy 19 A, Mount Dora, Suite 7. For more info, please contact Jane Hepting at 352-250-6771 or hepting.jane@gmail.com .

We also want to have as many participants as possible to Walk or Ride in the Saturday parade.  Line up at 10 a.m. at the corner of Magnolia and 9th Streets.  Please set aside a couple hours to show our Democratic pride!  For more information, please contact Jane Hepting at 352-250-6771 or hepting.jane@gmail.com.  Let Jane know if you will be able to help with the posters and/or attend the parade.

Is there an event page for the parade? I’ve searched and can’t find one.
